Like the name implies this tournament will be by generation. You can use any generation you want and as long as you could find that pokemon in the game its legal.

For example, Pikachu has been in every generation, so has Ghastly and its evolutions(if memory serves me right.) these pokemon can be used on any team.

One person should save the log if some1 feels that they got hacked to death. In that case I or snoogy will decide on if there should be a rematch.

Oh and Snoogy, can members start tournaments like this?

I'm assuming were talking about pokemon in the regional 'dex so not every pokemon that is available in POkemon diamong for example (which would be every pokemon).
And are Uber's allowed?

Yeah very well put snoogy only pokemon in the regional'dex are allowed.
No Ubers are not allowed so most of the teams will be made up of mostly BL or UU.

Is there a prize?

If you dont include the satisfaction of choosing the best team and beating other people on the site and the respect of your fellow peers...then no.

If y'all want i could give my team as a prize. The one that i was really good with pre-island coma.

After consulting serebii, I've found that first generation has 24 usable pokemon, second has 17, third has 22, and fourth has 38. Therefore, the first round matches are as follows:
Squire(seed4)vs.Snoogy(seed1)
Itachi(seed3)vs.Ria(seed2)
