Card Games

Talk about card games here. This includes:
-Yugi-oh
-Pokemon
-Games like 'Go Fish!'
-etc.

First of all, I'd like to ask what your thoughts are on buying cards of all kinds.

I don't really get the point of buying all of the cards. It seems like a waste of money. Buying a deck of cards for Go Fish! or something is different, because you just need to buy one set. and they're always really cheap.

i have over 800 yugiho cards. i just collect them but i do have an awsome deck.

If y'all are interested in special edition Yu-gi-oh cards and are fans of manga, I suggest subscribing to Shonen Jump. Every few months you get a promo card that either won't come out to the public for a long time or ever come out to the public. Card games like this are fun and worth the cost as long as you have like a really good friend who you can play with.

yeah, when hella people play the game it becomes worth the money because its just hella fun when everyone does it. well usually. other than that, pokemon/yugioh cards are kinda cool just to check out. but i dont think they're really worth a serious investment. spendin a casual amount of money on em is all good though.

They have a yugioh simulater online, just like shoddy, too. So you can play without ever searching for cards or anything. But I guess it could be like pokemon too, where the real thing just feels better somehow. Probably because you have to put some time into getting everything ready.

I think it's just instinct for humans to have something to do. I kow that I'm at a loss of I can't think of anything throughout those crappy maths lessons!
It's great to be thinking about a pokemon team or a LittleBIGPlanet level at these times

But there's soooo many things you could do! Well, sorta. If you already have another person to play cards with, there is.

yeah, i know people who use the online thing AND play yugioh at school. but i can imagine that its more fun in real life considering youre actually with people.

also that uno attack machine scares me. it looks like its gonna shoot cards at me and cut up my face. D:

It's one of the funnest games I've EVER played. Including video games. It's like non-stop laughing!
